Aussie-versary Competition!

Happy Aussie-versary Angels, we hope you’ve been celebrating our Aussie Limited Edition bottles as much as we have!

Your community members have all been getting in the celebratory spirit thanks to you guys and so…drum roll please… now it’s your chance!

Get your creative hats on Angels, because, in the spirit of this season’s Aussie-versary party theme, we’re challenging you to share with us your ULTIMATE AUSSIE-VERSARY CELEBRATION look.

It can be makeup look, or a fashion statement (or both!) along with of course you’re ultimate Aussie-versary Celebration hair.

The UncoverAussie team will be choosing the entry that we believe to be the most creative and most in the spirit of our Aussie-versary limited edition bottles as the winner, so the more creativity and effort the better your chances of winning!

Blog it, video it, teach others how to copy it, add your favourite party music, anything you like – just as long as you tell us what’s inspired your creativity AND feature the Aussie-versary limited edition product you’ve been using to get you in the party spirit (it can be any product from any of the Aussie-versary limited edition ranges, and bonus points for working the fireworks pattern into your look!)

And the prize? The chance to celebrate of course! The winner will receive exclusive access for themselves and 9 of their friends and followers to the winner’s circle at our Aussie Party in London on Saturday the 29^th October 2011 (trust me, you want to be in this circle – your own bar, your own Aussie hunks, nail technicians and more…!)

The challenge starts now and runs until October 20th 2011.

Terms and conditions

1. This competition is open to all current Aussie Angels in the UK and Ireland over 18 years of age (Angels being people that have previously been selected and have opted-in to be part of the Aussie Angels’ program overlooked by the Uncover Aussie team)

2. To enter – Create and publicly share via blog or video an “Ultimate Celebration” look that includes a hair style that has been styled using Aussie products, mention of Aussie products and in conjunction with a makeup look and / or fashion outfit.

3. The Promoter will not be liable for applications not received, incomplete, delayed or damaged. Last date for receipt of entries is 20/10/2011 at noon.

4. All entries received by noon 20/10/2011 will be entered into the competition and the entry deemed the most creative overall look by the Uncover Aussie team will win access for themselves and 9 of their friends and followers to the winner’s circle at the Aussie Party in London on the 29^th October 2011. All guests of the winning Angel must be living in the UK and Ireland and over 18 years of age.

The prize is as stated and cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged. There is no cash alternative. Only one prize per household. No bulk or third party entries accepted.

5. The winner will be notified in writing by 5pm on 21/10/2011. The prize winner will also be announced on www.uncoveraussie.co.uk at 5pm 21/10/2011. In the event that the winner is unavailable to accept her prize on the 21/10/2011, the Uncover Aussie team reserve the right to select an alternative winner.

6. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize of equal or greater value in the event of unavailability due to circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control.

7. By entering this competition, entrants agree to be bound by the rules and by any other requirements set out in the promotional material.

8. The promoter reserves the right to modify the date when the winner will be announced or the date of the party.

09. Travel to the event on the 29^th October 2011 for the winning Angel will be covered by Aussie.

#Aussieversary Community Challenge – congratulations Nora!

Congratulations to Nora from http://www.noradaisy.blogspot.com/ (@NoraDaisy1) who cracked the code first, beating many others in the nick of time with the correct and in-order paragraph.

The paragraph that needed to be sent was -

Happy Aussie-versary! Good hair is the only excuse you need to celebrate,
and Aussie’s limited edition products with jojoba seed oil, eucalyptus and macadamia nuts
are the only products you need to get your hair moisturised, shiny and party-ready!

Thanks to everyone who entered, and a huge congratulations to our winner Nora, who has won herself and 9 of her friends 10 tickets to our Aussie-versary party in London. Now if that isn’t a reason to celebrate then what is????

#Aussieversary Community Challenge

Hi guys,

Welcome to the Aussie-versary challenge!

You would have all just received (via email) words that make up a sentence from a paragraph that’s all about our Aussie-versary limited edition bottles.

All giveaway winners who ordered the Miracle Moist products are receiving words from the first line; everyone who ordered the Take The Heat products are receiving the words from the second line, and all those who chose Luscious Long products are receiving words from the third line.

TODAY we will be posting 3 twitter lists with all our giveaway winners who are taking part in the challenge, so you can put your heads (tweets) together and “crack the code”.

***(Ahem, when we say crack the code, we mean put the words in your phrase in the right order, then find out what the other 2 correct phrases are, and put all 3 phrases in the right order to spell out the whole paragraph.)***

To make it easier to find one another on Twitter, use the hash tag #Aussieversary

If you think you’ve got all 3 phrases in the right order, email the full paragraph to holly@uncoveraussie.co.uk

The first person to do this will win the golden tickets! (yes, we know, all very Willy Wonka of us…)

The winner of the challenge is to be chosen by Aussie
4. Mechanics:

All participants of the challenge are being emailed jumbled words at 1pm on Monday 5^th September.

Those who received a Miracle Moist product as part of their giveaway prize will be emailed 1 set of jumbled words, all those who received a Take The Heat product be emailed a 2^nd set of jumbled words, and all those who received a Luscious Long product will be emailed a 3^rd set of jumbled words.

To win, participants must first unjumble the words emailed to them to create a coherent phrase.

Participants then need to use Twitter to find out the 2 coherent phrases that the other 2 groups put together, and then put the 3 coherent phrases in the right order so they make a coherent paragraph.

Participants then need to email the coherent paragraph (the words from each phrase and the 3 phrases in the correct order) to holly@uncoveraussie.co.uk

The first participant to email the correct paragraph is the winner.

Happy Aussie-versary! Community competition

Hey Angels!

Since we’re celebrating our Aussie-Versary this season, we want as many people to join in the celebrations as we can (the more party people the better, right??)

To do this, we’re offering those from your online communities who have never tried Aussie before the chance to receive a Summer party pack which will include a product of their choice from any of the Aussie-versary Limited Edition Ranges.

This is a blog giveaway for you guys to host on your blogs. Up to 7 of your Community members can be sent summer party packs if, like Aussie, they have something to celebrate (it can be anything big or little – any excuse, remember?)

They can share what that reason is by blogging about it or commenting on your giveaway blog post, and then it’s up to you to choose which 7 get to receive the Summer Party pack and join in the celebrations.

And best of all? All those who receive packs will have the opportunity to take part in a challenge, with the chance of one person winning 10 tickets for themselves and 9 of their friends or followers to our HUGE Summer party in October! This will be our biggest, most exclusive party yet – one night of celebrations that CANNOT be missed!

Once each Angel has chosen 7 community members to receive the Summer packs, each winning community member can choose one product from the Aussie-versary Limited Edition ranges to include in their own pack:
