Last Saturday saw the first of our Aussie Bloggers’ Christmas Markets take place at the Loft in Leeds. Despite the record-breakingly bad weather, our Aussie Angels, friends and fellow bloggers braved the streets to attend.

The day kicked off at midday, albeit with a few casualties of the snow and tales of taking hours to get there! But arrive they did, and thus were greeted with hot cuppas and mulled wine to get the circulation back into the fingers!

Running throughout the day were stalls run by our very own Angels – they’re such a talented lot, we wanted to throw a Christmas market so they could share their talents with their fellow bloggers and friends!

Therefore the lovely Catherine spent the day doing nails, Brogan was there showcasing her super-cool capsule wardrobes and entering guests into her competition (to be drawn shortly!), Daisy and Sarah brought along delicious home cooked treats (the banoffee pie and cupcakes flew like, well, hot cakes!), and Louise showcased her adorable arugumi animals and gifts whilst the lovely Lu provided gorgeous makeovers.

It being an Aussie market though, of course we had 5 hair salons and stylists, each representing the Aussie Hair Tribes – Miracle Moist, Aussome Volume, Luscious Long, Colour Mate and Frizz Miracle. Each salon was themed to match the original themes from the Aussie Hair Tribe parties, but most exciting of all was the attendance of some special guests (but we don’t want to ruin the surprise for our London girls attending this Saturday!)

And last but certainly not least we had our entertainment of the day, in the form of Elizabeth Clarke the UK’s ultimate Flirt Guru; Suzy Makin, our leading catwalk queen, clothes stylist and presenter; and our speakers Carlo, Cate and Lena who gave fascinating workshops on photography, blogging and vintage fashion. By all accounts all went down a storm, and we hope our guests have come away with some handy hints and tips for the future!
